Handmade Holidays!

Handmade Holidays

I’m sure we’ve all had the experience of watching someone we love open up a gift that we’ve made. It’s a thrill to see their excitement and makes you feel so good. Over the next several weeks you’ll find free tutuorials and YCMT-TV episodes sponsored by YCMT, Journal Modiste, Boutique Cafe, and Kiddlins. We want to promote the idea of buying, selling, and making homemade this year. Watch for this logo at each of our sites and and learn something new!

This week, be sure to check out a FREE craft tutorial at Journal Modiste. You’ll learn how to make those darling flower pens. What I love about this is that it is a perfect project to sit down and do with your children. They will LOVE making these! And what a fun gift to give to their teachers, too! Place them in a flower pot for an extra fun touch. Thank you Amy of Journal Modiste for sharing a fun, step-by-step tutorial!

  • What a wonderful idea–thank you for sharing this great resource!

  • They’re beautiful! My children made me sunflower pens years ago at Vacation Bible School and I just love them – I still have them in a pretty pencil cup on my desk.
    Journal Modiste rocks too!
