I just have to finish the waistband on a skirt for my DD, then I’m off to make this wonderful purse. Let’s see: two for me (one classy, one casual) one for my Mum……..all in all I think I’ll be making at least 6 of these to give as gifts.

Thank you, thank you thank you!
    Keep up the great work.

Erin, “littlecottageboutique”, Melanie, and Sarah — I’m so excited that you’ve already downloaded it! Carla and I had a lot of fun putting that together, so we can’t wait to see what you make.

“Sarah in Germany”…I love that you’ll be making so many for gifts! Great idea!

Melanie – you must be a late-night sewing gal! That’s about the only time I have to sew, too!

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

Sarah – I love that fabric, too! It is made by “timeless treasures” but I can’t remember the exact fabric line right now. I’ll do some research and get back to you!

  12. Thanks Kim and Carla for such a cute bag!!

Am I missing something? Is the pattern full size?
I only measure the top at about 6 inches and it calls for a 6 inch handle. The bottom measures 10 inches w/o seam allowance. But I won’t be able to get a wallet much less my hand in the top.
I finally found some great fabric and now I am really unsure what to do:(
